Introduction.

I'd like to start by saying I'm quite new to this, and I'm not quite sure how many of these posts are already out there. However I thought i would get started on blogging with this. please let me know what you think I like criticism.

Survival games have become quite popular over the past year or two, and with good reason. That constant sense of danger, the fear of betrayal, and the adrenaline coursing through your veins 90% percent of the match. The tips and tricks i give you today may help you later on. So sit back and have a good read. Oh and "may the odds be ever in your favor."

Teams.

These games are ruthless, and cruel. So most people form a team of 2 or 3 people. These teams can be a major inconvenience for those of us who trust no one and therefor choose to go off on our own. A simple way to deal with this is by avoiding more populated areas and those who inhabit them.

Some of us enjoy the company of a small band of people to work with. It gives you a major advantage in many situations, but there is always a sense of distrust within your fellowship. It's hard to justify killing the people who have helped you survive this far, but it must be done. This should be done before your companions turn on you, and believe me they will.

The process of killing a member of your group can be a difficult one. It requires perfect timing and circumstances. You could wait until they get hurt somehow, and put them out of their misery. You could stab them in the back, or shoot them in the head. Then there's my favorite. Find a decently high place wait for them tho get close to the edge, then knock them off. I know, I know. You already know this, but let me explain why I've said this.

By pushing someone over a ledge, you don't even need a weapon. You can let the ground do all the work. You then simply walk back down to where his/her loot lies and "clean it up." Not only is this process effective but it also is also much easier to preform, that is if you have morals like myself. Just be careful nearing a ledge with a friend close by or this may happen to you.

It is important to note that there are many other ways of killing a team mate, this is simply the one i prefer.

Strategy.

Strategy is a very important part of survival. There are several different types of players. There's those who play for the thrill of the kill, scavengers who are happy with anything they find, collectors who simply cant stop looking for chests and people to kill and loot, and then there are people who are smart.

To play smart there are many things you must do to stay alive. Think about every action you make and don't get yourself killed. You should try to avoid conflict, let the others kill each other off. Be ready to fight if necessary, always have a sword or ax in hand(if you can). Above all else however, you must have food.

Food is the most valuable thing in the survival games. It can keep you alive when you need it. Sure a sword can do that too, but a sword cant heal your wounds can it? I've learned from experience that it is much easier to die of starvation than to die from someone else's weapon.

Good. Ive read the Hunger Games and seen the movie, and it really is extremely tense. You can never be truly sure where everyone is, what they have, if they are watching you this very moment...
Anyways, forming a team is a good idea if you are a sly bastard. You have to kill them when they least expect it, such as during a fight against another enemy. You could just desert them mid-battle, and then catch whoever is trying to kill your friend off guard afterwards. Hitting two birds with one stone, as they say.
