Hello everyone, dsboy1120 here reviewing the popular movie: "Phantom of the Opera".

Well, may I just say that this movie, though it may be old, astounds me with the effects and just pure beauty of the motion picture. Its movies like these that makes us look at musicals like "High School Musical" (Sorry for all you fanboys) and just say, "Why?". Not only is the picture and scenery absolutely beautiful, but the voices could not have been matched better.

So then, here is the grade card for this movie:

General Grades~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Effects: 8/10 There weren't that many special effects, but the ones that there were were pretty good. I did not really like the choppy beginning though.

Plot: 7/10 Though the singing and scenery of the film was amazing, the plot was actually surprisingly week. I was hoping for more of a development between Phantom and the lady that saved him from the Gypsies (im horrible with character nams, sorry)

Scenery: 10/10 Defenitly a strong point in this film. The scenes and sets just took my breath away.

Acting: 10/10 The acting in this was just brilliant. Though it is hard to expect less from such a popular musical.

Singing: 10/10 Even though Phantom had some rocky parts, it was truly meant to be like that. After all, the angel of darkness cannot be perfect right?

Dancing: 9/10 Very intriguing. I loved the different styles and whatnot. I just did not think there was enough of it.

Costume: 10/10 I just loved the period outfits, they were so... strange and fascinating.
