Welcome Ladies and Gentleblocks to a short tutorial that I made on making your very own Team Fortress 2 styled 'control points' by using something called a pulse length detector, just like in Sethbling's TF2 map!

I show you how the mechanics work and how you can set a longer time required for the point to be captured.

could you make it so once its on, its on forever? but, if someone else stands on it, like someone from the other team, they could turn it back off, then light a different block? also, you should make pressure plates allover the platform? because in TF2, even if you hit someone and they move back from the hit, they will still be making the control point turn to their team.

I always love to play TF2, but always wondered how it works, but now I know :D

Much to my dismay, I didn't get a cookie. I would also like to mention, with his design, there is no way to turn it off. This can easily be done by adding a t-flip-flop to the input signal, and then connecting the t-flip-flop to the piston. (Make sure it's a sticky piston) Very nicely done though, OliverFrenchie. I would also like to mention, I like your accent a lot! I wish I sounded like that, but I was born in America.

Thanks. Yeah I know it is non-resettable (which I mention in the video) because I used a single use T Flip-Flop rather than a reusable one.

Redstone has always been kind scary for me, but if you keep making these, I might eventually be able to make a pretty cool adventure map with some hidden buttons. :)
