Amethyst sat on her rooftop porch, Geode laying down beside her. She was reading a book Marie (click for Marie skin)had let her borrow. It was called "Minecraft Myths: Jean?". It was about the Ender Dragon! She'd never been to The End, but when she did, she would be ready! "AMETHYST" A loud voice called. She looked down over the railing. It was Marie, Keller's older sister and one of her best friends. "I need your help!!" She called. Amethyst sprinted downstairs, wondering to herself. Marie was usually quite stubborn and rarely asked for ANYONE's help. To openly ask like this, it had to be something important. Marie was waiting outside her front door. "Come on!" Marie said, impatient. "What's wrong" Amethyst asked, concerned. "I... um... need your help." She said reluctantly. She explained as we headed over to her base (That I helped her make!). Marie and Keller had gotten into (another!) fight. In short, Marie was teasing Keller on his terrible building skills, Keller said her's weren't much better. Marie got mad, something you DON'T want to see. So Keller dared her to build something, and if it's bad, she has to give him 2 of her bees. And Marie, being the sane and reasonable person she is, she said she'd build a whole town.
Yay. We went to a mostly flat area on her meadow. As Amethyst looked through my inventory, she saw something she had just crafted and filled. It was from a new mod Rise had just installed. A Backpack! Amethyst knew she had some building stuff in it. "Thank you Rise." Amethyst whispered. Suddenly a fuzzy shape barreled into Marie. Amethyst whipped out her sword, but seeing what it was, burst out laughing. It was Marie's new puppy, Dollie! "Wait, this gives me an idea! Instead of making a normal town, let's build an animal town!"
We got to work, using some clay that Marie had gotten on her trip to the Mesa, some spruce I brought from my grove, and even some blocks made from honey (from Marie's bees). Using some flowers from the meadow, we colored the clay every color of the rainbow! Working together, we made little houses for each one of Marie's pets. They all had spruce floors, spruce roofs, and honeycomb trim. But the walls were all different colored clay, most of them matching the pet's collars. Dollie had a pink house, Daisy had a white, Poppy's was red, and SeaPickle had a green one. His was also full of water. "I think we're done," Marie said proudly. "Not yet!" Amethyst told her.
Amethyst grabbed some of the leftover clay and dyed it gray. She quickly dug out a little path connecting all the houses. With Marie's help, they filled them in with the clay. For the finishing touch, she made a miniature fountain in the middle. "Now we're done!" Amethyst told Marie, "Let's go show Keller! Looks like your bees are safe another day!" she said in a silly voice. Both Marie and Amethyst started giggling. "You go get him. I'm going to go get my animals!" Marie said excitedly. Grabbing her backpack, Amethyst took off, with Geode at her heels. She ran up the mountain staircase Marie had made, not too long ago. After running past her cabin, she eventually got to the other side of the grove. "Keller, Marie wants to show you..." She started, exhausted. Keller understood, "Already? Huh, well at least I can get a bee!". Amethyst smiled, "Come on!". Together they ran all the way to Marie's Meadow. "We really need some horses!" Keller gasped, out of breath.
"Wait, she actually did it? And it looks good?" He was speechless. "Yup! Now you owe me" Marie boasted. Wait... Amethyst thought. She shot Marie a look. "You didn't tell me that he owed you something!" Amethyst reprimanded her. "I didn't... sorry" Marie whispered, embarrassed. They had some fun playing with the animals, but then Keller had to go home. “I 'll visit again soon!" He promised. After he left, Marie brought her over to Dollie's house. We followed the path a bit more, and she saw a house unlike the others. It had an amethyst roof, calcite walls, and a basalt trim. The floor was made of spruce planks. It was all Amethyst's favorite blocks, but the thing that really caught her attention was the sign in front off it. It had the name 'Geode' on it in glowing purple letters. "Do you like it! I built it when you we're getting Keller. I had some geode stuff from my last mining trip, and since Amethyst is kinda your thing, I decided to surprise you with a house for Geode. It's not as good as yours, but I tried my best..." She exclaimed. "Thank you Marie! I love it!" She blurted, cutting her off "but where's Geode?". We looked around for her, and Amethyst started worrying. "Marie," She panicked " what if we don't find her!". As she was about to give up, Amethyst heard a familiar snore. "Geode!" She yelped. They ran back to the house's front door and saw the shape of a sleeping puppy in the back comer of the house. When Geode heard them open the gate, she woke up and bounded towards Amethyst. Geode jumped up and liked her face, then sat down for some petting. Amethyst rolled her eyes, letting her puppy out of the house. After saying goodbye to Marie, Amethyst and Geode headed home to their Mountain Cabin!1
