Think back to when your first started. Seriously, think. I do this time to time and think, god I was a noob back then. But then I think about how I even heard about Minecraft. My first time seeing Minecraft was at my friend's house when I was 8. We were online watching videos on YouTube when my friend said,"Hey, check this series out that I found! I laugh every time I see it." So we pulled the video up, and guess what. It was the Yogscast's first ever Minecraft video. Yes, the first thing I ever saw in Minecraft were two bumbling fools not knowing what to do. XD

Once I got home, I remember watching the whole series, dying to see the next episode. Then came Israphel. If you never watch Yogscast's first ever Minecraft videos, during episode 16 or something, a player is seen named Israphel, who was a mystery at the time. Also at the time, I thought this was part of the game! I never played the game, I thought once you start getting good something comes out of nowhere and start haunting you. Later on they found a village, did some story stuff, ya-da ya-da ya-da, and long story short, I believed the whole series was supposed to happen in the game. Until I found a special someone who stepped out of the shadows and showed me the real, unscripted version of Minecraft, AntVenom. He produced episodes which showed the real Minecraft,a nd I wanted the game 10 times more then. I begged my mother to get it for me (I was 8 I had no money :P), until finally she said fine.

She bought the game, I was filling everything out until, I found the username slot. I had no idea what should my username. I asked my mom, she had nothing. I asked my dad, and he made the name. He said to me,"Well, you are a kid, you hate spinach, and to add some spice add a 212 or something to the end of the name. That shouldn't be taken." And so the name Kidspinach505 was born. I started playing Minecraft 1.7.3, but since I was a noob, played on peaceful. Ikr, so manly. I made my horrible shack, started mining, had some fun, then I decided," Hey, this is too easy, lemme step up the difficulty." Literally 5 seconds later I open my door, a creeper walks in, blows up all my stuff, and I experience my first rage quit ever. After that I found out how to mod and started modding Minecraft with tons of crap that ruined the game, and ended up losing all my stuff.

So yeah, that's my story of how I started, what's yours? I just find it amusing thinking back to me wondering how to make a bed, to thinking to myself how to connect my NOR latch to my triple-decker wheat farm. So yeah, what's your story?
