Hello, my name is Brian. I'm a pilot for U.S. Air, living in northern Iowa. I decided to get this journal as a way to remember my travels around the world. Today, I shall be embarking on a three-day flight to Hawaii where my (and a lot of other people's) vacation will begin. Just nan hour and a half before we depart, so I should start heading over to prepare for flight.

2/15/2009 - 12:47 p.m. -
So the flight has been delayed. A fight broke out between two of the passengers and it took three people to pry them apart. I guess their vacation is gonna be happening another day.

We finally arrived in sunny Hawaii! Oh how it feels great to be here on this beauty of an island. I'm going to be staying with my friend, Charlie, who lives about half an hour away from the airport, so once my rental car gets here, I'll be off.

Charlie went to go pick up lunch, so I have the house to myself. I can't believe how big this place is, I could fit about four of my house on just this one property. The post cards must take away 1,000 square feet haha.

Someone broke into the house a while ago. The police are investigating and the strange part is, nothing was taken at all... strange... The only evidence other than the broken window, is a few footprints in the dirt next to the driveway, and a recording of a person running from the house, caught on Charlie's security camera. If nothing was stolen, then what's the point of a break-in??

So the police report came back about the break-in. Things just don't seem to add up... They said that whatever was fleeing the house couldn't have been human: it was too tall to be anyone that inhabits the island, or has come here and hasn't left yet... They also said that upon reviewing the video, a haze could be seen emanating from the stranger... That's kinda creepy if you ask me.

I think Charlie may have been messing with my journal again... But this doesn't look like his handwriting. He also says he wasn't even near it for most of the day because it was in my pocket until I went to bed... Strange how after I write about the report, this happens though... If it wasn't Carlie, then who did this?

I woke up to a scratching sound a second ago, and peer through half-open eyes to see a tall slim humanoid figure writing in my journal. It definitely wasn't Charlie this time. I'm glad that at dawn, the return flight takes off... Maybe I shouldn't have come here in the --------------------------------------------------------------------------------_____________________

It attacked me while I was writing... I look up to see two piercing purple eyes staring into my cold blue ones. It made a shriek then slapped the journal out of my hand and started attempting to hit me with its long human-like arms. Charlie heard the racket and came to my rescue, killing the beast. After it died, a puff of purple smoke came out of its body, and it was gone... Glad the flight takes off in five minutes, I miss home.

2/22/2009 - 5:00 a.m. -
We crashed on an island that I didn't even know existed. All I remember is seeing the same tall figure attack my copilot and charge at me. I sounded the alarm while trying to defend myself, and the sound of security breaking down the door made it "teleport" away... It was too late, as the plane was heading straight down... My GPS puts us all n(everyone survived... all 20 of us) in the middle of Arizona for some reason... Nobody has cell phone reception either, and the plane's mic ton communicate with the coastguard is fried. It looks like we're stuck here, living off of what we brought with us, and the food from the plane that didn't get buried in the sand. The plane is still mostly here, so that'll have to be our current shelter until help arrives.

We decided to take the on-board life rafts and paddle to shore, wherever that may be. But we're NOT splitting up, that only gets people killed...

2/23/2009 - 4:27 p.m. -
We finally found land... Uninhabited land that is... We've been walking for what seems like forever but there's no sign of civilization anywhere. We still have a lot of food and water left, so that's good.

Same day -
The world looks different for some reason... It's as if physics are warped here - I saw a floating mountain a few miles back... Am I dreaming?
