Sorry this one took so long to come out, I've kind of had writer's block for a long time. I hope I haven't lost the people that used to read this. It's still kind of short, but I've got just the idea for the next chapter. Enjoy!

There was something about theo ¦ workerso ¦ that was strange. I couldno t put my finger on it, but it was as if they had eyes on the back of their head. They knew everything that happened and could see everything. They made me uncomfortable.


Eventually I reached an age of where I was considered too old to be in the orphanage anymore. Thato s when I took a job as a hunter. How I met Erik and Grace? I was hunting, it was only my fourth time out in the woods, I was scared, but I was also starving. I couldno t find anything anywhere. I would hear an occasional explosion, and I figured the creepers were out hunting. I was desperate to find food, so I took a risk, and dropped down from the treetops. Good thing I did. Straight in front of me was tidy, small farm, filled with delicious looking foods. I hopped the fence with ease, climbed an apple tree, had a snack and took a nap. Best apples I had ever had.


o Hi.o I was scared out of my wits and fell from the tree, hard. o Who are you?o I looked up and saw a beautiful girl, Grace. I jumped to my feet, trying to not look like an imbecile in front of my first crush.


o Why hello thereo ¦o Grace was still staring at me, expecting something. o Oh! Yes, uh, my name is Reis. Who are you?o


o My name is Grace. Thato s my friend Erik.o She gestured towards a small shack, where I could see a guy a little older than me, who nodded. What? Did I ask him something? Why did he nod to me? Whato s that mean? o So why are you here at my farm? Youo re not supposed to steal.o


o Oho ¦ this is your farm? Sorry o bout that, Io ll be on my way.o


o No, dono t leave! You look like youo ve been hunting. You not supposed to hunt in the woods either you little rule breaker. Never mind that. If youo re a hunter, you must be strong. Would you mind staying here to help me? Erik never does anything around here but sleep and eat.o


Sure Io ll do anything to impress youo ¦ o Uho ¦ sureo ¦ Ito s not like Io ve got anything to do. I dono t think Io m going to be catching anything.o I could tell I had just made her day. Her eyes sparkled and she stood on her toes and kissed me on the cheek.





o Reis! Co mon Reis wake up! Youo ve been out for a day!o I bolted straight up to see Jameso glare.


o What the... Where are we?o I looked around to see 10 beds, crammed into a small house, some wooden walls, a couple windows, torches everywhere and just everything you would to survive for life.
James looks at me, not changing his face from his glare he house welcomed me with. o Welcome home.o
