the first day

Usaully on the first the first day in new world i would always get wood, cobble, and coal. To get these things first chop down a tree and get some wood. 2nd make wooden planks with your wood and make sticks and a crafting-bench with the woden palnks. 3rd make a pickaxe and a sword and then start mining. 4th (if you run into any mobs down in a cave in use your sword) get lots of cobblestone. 5th with your crafting-bench make more tolls but this time make them out of cobble. Make a stone-sword, stone-pickaxe, and a stone-axe. 6th use your new stone-axe to get lots of wood. 7th turn that wood into woodenplanks and start building your house. Remember to be quick when doing all of this because if you don't then mobs will spawn and you'll have a good chance of dieing. Also when you're mining its a good idea to look for coal to make torches, if you can't find any then make a furnace and get some extra wood to make carcoal. To make carcoal put wood in the ingredent section of the furnace and woodenplanks in the bottom of the furnace and wait tell its down and you'll havee carcoal. Carcoal works the same ways as coal so just put on a stick and you've got 4 good torches.
