She came running down the path from the forest. A blur. That's all i saw. All i heard was the footsteps but only for a second. I had no clue why, But she was. Long hair whipped past me, the colour of her clothes a puddle blended together. She didn't notice me when she ran past, at least i don't think she did. It was the forest, That's where she emerged from, Dark, eerie, Shrouded. But that is where she came from, why was she in there? No one goes in there at least not if they want to come back, it sounds cliche when i say it 'no one who has gone in there has returned' but this, this is actually true. Although somehow she came back out... alive, and by herself. I was tempted to go in look around, see what the hole fuss was about, of course that's what i thought.

Three months had past since that day, i went back to that spot everyday for the next three weeks but there was nothing, so i stopped going, i tried to forget about it, about the Women, wanting to go in,wondering what was in there. I couldn't shake the thought. All the distraction i had access to couldn't make me stop thinking about that day.....always on my mind....never leaving.....never ceasing....just there, always there.

Why?

Another month passes the same story Can't get rid of the thought, of her, the forest.
I decided to go back to the spot where it all started i just stood around watching, listening and thinking. It was quite no one was around, although there never was......... A noise i heard it coming from the forest, I stood up so fast i could of taken off. I focused into the forest looking for the sign of the noise. Faster. Closer. Louder! ... Nothing, it stopped. i found my self breathing heavy from anticipation, from curiosity. What was it? Then just before i turn around to sit, The noise it started, twigs snapping, leaves crunching and the familiar sound of running...there just visible a figure running toward me, fast! 'Steady' i told myself, calm. Patiently i stand there waiting for this, second thoughts cross my mind 'what if i don't want to be here when it comes'. it's closer i can see A human figure. !!! i can't be, long hair the same colour as the other women. Almost here.

A flashback in slow motion appears in my head, me standing there as i was walking by that day, The women bursting out of the forest edge, Running past me. But this time i noticed something, she had noticed me when she ran by. She was saying something to me. What was it? ... i can't quite make it out. a breath of wind, said like a loud whisper, what was she saying..... the memory rewinds...she runs past again "HELP!" Help? Help! it was said with a haunting tone. i snap out of the flash back.

She is at the forest edge again, it is the same person, she's running toward me. What do i do? stop her? As stupid as i may think it is stupid, but it is the only thing i can come up with... time to put it to action.

Heart beating faster, deep breaths, looking foward with concentration, she almost here. i stand tall and in her path. She is heading right for me...Brace for impact.

WHACK! she collides in to me breath rushing out of us both, I fall to the ground her en tow on top of me. time slows as we fall. The sounds longer deeper, Light reflecting on us. the leaves behind her in the air thrown up with gravel. A tear from her eye seeps out across her cheek and into the air, Then we crash into the ground. She panics, flurrys around trying to get up and continue, this time... whispering with a fear in her voice.. run!
I pick myself up and her with me, grab hold of her. hold on, what is in there? what are you running from?
Come, run, we need to leave this area. a strange thing, confusion in the midst. we run for how far though seems like a great distance, time seems to be nothing. once we stop we catch our breath.

I ask again why were you in there and what were you running from....for a second time!?
She looks at me into my eyes, ready to speak. "People, they're in there They're not ageing. Some have been there for hundreds of years, they want help, i was once one of them pulled in by...something. Like snow, it looked like it was falling but it wasn't, it was glowing and..purple. I was curious so i went to look, it called my name, i reached for it then just before i could stop myself, i saw a black face purple eyes and a scream so ear wrenching, and then i had no idea where i was, time didn't move neither did space, i don't know how long i was in this void before i got shot out in to the hear of the woods. i was confused but some how i knew i wasn't out of it yet, these were not the woods at the edge, i kept hearing the screams, but of people as well this time, cries also. i did the thing you would think not to do and i walked toward them, What i found was not what i expected, people of our type but round curvy people, and all sorts of other types of 'people' Eventually i was told that this was a dimensional prison but no one knew why we where captives. one day i ran for it and i saw the purple now again, so i ran for it that's the day i first saw you".

It was a lot for me to take in i went over it in my head she stood there breathing heavily and i just managed to click at how fast she was speaking like the memory of it all hurt for her. I didn't want to but i had to ask.
"how did you end up in there again?"

I couldn't leave them, i had to help them, so i went back on my own, but it was worse. Now they're angry they are doing horrible stuff in there and i think it's because i escaped. they did things to me and made me watch them do it to them. after endless amounts of they stopped it seemed they may half calmed down, i didn't want to stay but i knew what escaping again would mean. so i talked with a few of them. some how despite all our linguistic differences we could understand each other something about the place did that. they said go for it we will be fine this time...bring aid. Then after running i saw it again i ended up colliding with you and here we are.

Again she was breathing fast, i thought this might be the reaction. but i had to. we stood in silence for a few minutes. Then as almost out of nowhere i said. ill do it count me in, i want to help. she smiled at me. and with outword we left for the forest edge, she seemed to slightly tremble as we went in. i didn't doubt her i was uneasy myself.

The purple snow...i saw it, we reach out, and it all starts, lets do this i say to her. i saw her relax a bit and then we were off.
