Planet Minecraft,
What amazing things you have produced, from your massive creative community, your contests, your active forum and great moderators. Today Planet Minecraft is one of the biggest and best Minecraft community sites around! Now I am guessing most of you are already members reading this, if not join now! It is a great, friendly community with great people.
Now, onto the more serious note - I will be talking to you guys about Planet Minecraft's heart. Every single thriving thing has a heart, including this website. This website has a really big heart, a creative heart. A good heart with some dark secrets. From the first building contest to the current skin contest, Planet Minecraft's most powerful message is a friendly place.
Most people here have spent countless hours making this 'house' a 'home' if you like, creating beautiful artworks, amazing poems, sharing stories from the bottom of their heart, made the community a beautiful customisation section (skins & Texture Packs), amazing mods and spectacular builds. Now, some of the major 'producers' out there are the Angel Block Society (for projects), Plaff656 with his fantastic sci-fi texture packs, sphax and his textures, Snowylips for her great blogging, Leostereo and his fantastic skins and Mightypork's intricate mods. That is just a few names which most people know!
The heart of Planet Minecraft is a sometimes rocky one, we can lose our balance with some silly things and good things, I have talked about the great people who people know and love (not love love but like enjoy their work and personality) but what makes the heart, not that beautiful shell which we see oh so often. You. You are the heart of the community, anyone who has posted a comment, uploaded their works, asked a question or introduced themselves. Even the smallest little piece of advice makes this community. We all make ourselves 'act as one'. Helping each other, criticising, working as a team, cleaning up the rubbish (rule breaking things) and enjoying a good chat. No matter how big or how small your voice is in this community, your mind and thoughts ripple back to Planet Minecraft's heart. Every little detail, that mean word, the swear word, the abusive or inappropriate picture or your ideals make a big difference in people's lives and can entirely change the way Planet Minecraft works. Your thank you, your diamond, ideas, friends and work all make the heart of Planet Minecraft a wonderful warm thing which everyone wants to see and be part of.
Unfortunately not everyone has these ideals, the garbage is still out there, the ones who are in it for their own benefit. People who take advantage of the people who are not watching, paying much attention or are gullible. Stealing others works, trying to steal someone's identity and make them look bad or just make stuff which make the community look bad. Everyone makes mistakes. Moderators, you, I, the famous, the poor and the evil. I know that didn't make much grammatical sense but that is the sort of thing I mean. If a moderator removes your submission without a decent reason don't take it out, they thought it was breaking rules through their eyes. Everyone has their own views on words, pictures and people. Just talk and it will all become better. This 'bad blood' in the heart of Planet Minecraft is small; still it is there.
The community is a great place and remember YOU are the heart of Planet Minecraft, everything you say affects something. Enjoy your stay at Planet Minecraft and thank you for reading.

Now I am guessing most of you are already members reading this ) but i read the whole blog and i figured it wasn't appropriate because this blog isn't one of those naieve crappy ones, or only painting part of the picture. It's a quite decent analysis of the community, although i don't care much for the whole heart retoric. so yeah. decent blog. so i won't make phun of it.
