Herobrine started as a story then evolved around minecraft of coarse the creators started it but finally the famous picture was taken ( link located at end of blog ) it became incredibly popular Over 10,000 people instantly tweeted about it then the horrifying reply was posted on all of them but 100 " Stop " the username was random so no one knew who it was then minecraft became popular and notch was soon asked a very awkward question " Did You Have A Brother?" notch's face soon frowned " Yes, but he is no longer with us " BOOM notches brother died just before minecraft went gold,that's where the rumor of herobrine being notches brother came about. But later it was announced as a mistake in the human mob where they had forgot to add the eyes in the last update But insted of fixing it they removed the human mob but it didnt say that -Removed Humans, Instead it came up as "-Removed Herobrine " and thats what started it all the modern Herobine mods came out then another picture was taken while many called it a fake which it probably was it could not be proven then the comment again " STOP NOW " and thats the last time the comment appeared
