Yes. These dragons roared. Only unlike the dragons of ancient legend, the Imperial Varia dragon’s roar was not long and scary, just short and loud.So loud, that people boarded up their windows hoping that the dragon’s roar wouldn’t shatter the glass that composed them.

After hearing it’s roar, hundreds of explosions followed, dictator drones; which tormented the city without end, fell to the ground, smoking pile after smoking pile. My little brother, Nannan looked out the shattered window. The dragon was changing from its known dragon form to a form resembling a man, left and right.

Effortlessly.
As if it was just another well-rehearsed dance.

10 minutes after that first roar, the fascist ways of the Nekonian empire would never come to the people of this town. With a triumphant roar, the dragon flew off into the sky, its village safe once again.

Soon we saw and heard many more things falling to the ground, but instead of the boom of explosions or the clank of dictator drones, we heard a light pitter-patter. We walked outside and found the first pleasant thing to fall out of the sky: tootsie rolls and white rabbits. Just like in the dark times, candy dropped from the sky. A sign of peace in times of trouble.

The Nekonians are not happy with losing their cities, with their control over each being voided one by one. Meanwhile, the imperial dragon returns to its home ship, a sore reminder of the fall of the empire.
