They met one fateful day...so let's start there...2 Children played in the fields together after meeting while tending to the sheep. They met every day for 11 years to play together... But 7 days before the start of the 12th year disaster struck. Zombies invaded their hometown and killed their parents and everyone else in the village. They were the only survivors because of luck. They each had some training with bows and swords but not much. 1 grabbed a sword while the other grabbed a bow. They fought until they had to run. They fled to the forest...which is where their legacy begins...

The legacy of DARK AND PITTERS

Chapter 1: The Village

They were haunted all night long by the noises of all of their neighbors being attacked by zombies...screams...calls for help...And yet they couldn't have done anything...
"It'll be okay Dark. We just can't stop because I have no idea if we are being followed." Said Pitters as they trudged onwards though the mosquito infested forests that they once called home. They eventually gave up and passed out on the ground. When they awoke on they dew coated grass they ached from the fighting last night. They ate some apples that they had picked from the surrounding oak trees. They continued and after about 4 hours of endless walking they can apon a village. They went into it and met a blacksmith.
"Hello.' said the blacksmith. "Your stone sword there looks damaged." As he glanced over at Pitters.
'Why yes. We had a zombie attack at our hometown last night. We were the only survivors.' Explained Pitters.
'Ahhh.' exclaimed the blacksmith' Well for 5 emeralds I can repair it for you!' Said the blacksmith in a very sleazy manner.
"umm we don't have any emeralds." explained Dark
"Oh then quit loitering and get out!" Yelled the blacksmith.
Dark and Pitters ran as quick as they could out of the village and into the desert. The next few days where going to be some of the hardest that they have ever experinced...but not the hardest yet...

Chapter 2: The longest night ever

They wandered until the sun began to set.
"Holy snot poop." Said Dark. "It's so lumping hot out here."
"Well what did you expect?" Said Pitters as he began to slow down.
"Wanna camp here?"
"Sure!" Exclaimed Dark , eager to rest. 20 minutes they had set up camp and killed a few pigs to roast and then they went to sleep. Except they couldn't sleep. They kept awaking from nightmares about the zombies. When they awoke they were usually drenched in there own sweat. Then there was a arrow that can flying through the dark. It struck Pitters who was sitting on a log that they had chopped down. He was trying to fight the grieif that was starting to overcome. When he was struck he howled like a wolf. Then a nearby wolf charged him. At that second a zombie was also charging Pitters. The wolf nimbly leaped over Pitters and tackled the wolf. Dark then jumped up an stabbed the zombie. The wolf turned and cocked his head at Pitters. Pitters gave him a bone and he became tame. Then all of a sudden 100s of zombies arose out of the ground. Dark and Pitters began running. A village came into view. They ran into a librarian's house and locked the door.
"OH MY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY HOUSE?" Exclaimed the librarian.
"Huff...Zombies...Coming...Now"Gasped Dark as he tried to regain his breath.
Then the door burst open and Dark swung his sword that hit 3 zombies square in the head. Him and Pitters exchanged looks and then ran outside screaming "LEROY JENKINS!!!!"

Chapter 3: The Defense

As they ran out the door they were met by mumbles of 100s of zombies converging on the area. Piitters looked at the ground said a short prayer. Then they charged into battle. Their wolf also attacked. Zombie after zombie fell to either a stone sword or a accurate arrow. As Pitters held the line Dark backed him up with cover fire. They were killing so many zombies that there were now piles of zombie bodys. Skeletons now began to join the fray of battle,raining down arrows on the 2 companions. Then all of a sudden Dark was struck by and arrow to the arm. Pitters too was struck down with an arrow to the leg. Then they both saw a figure with glowing white eyes standing in front of them. Dark shot at him and struck him. This gave Pitters time to strike him down. Then the figure laught mentally like a mad scientist. He then disappered and the companions both saw a vision of the future...a dragon with purple eyes...comeing through a portal on top of a mountain...then villages burning...and the dragon high above them. The compainions then knew whgat they had to do. Then the sun began to rise. As the zombies burned to ashes the 2 companions blead until they passed out.
