Introduction
Let's get a few things straight. This blog is not about how to PVP it is more hints and tricks to become/kill one of the many PVPers below! This won't make you one, nor will it give a you a straight forward idea of one. This is just the types of fighters I have seen in Minecraft!

Table of Contents
I. 'New Player'
II. 'Camper'
III. 'Parkour Apprentice'
IV. 'Parkour Master'
V. 'Assassin'
VI. 'Snipest'
VII. 'Tank'
VIII. 'Melee'
IX. 'OP'
X. 'Admin'
XI. 'Flight or Fight'
XII. 'The God Father(s)'

The 'New Player'
This Guy/Gal can usually be found in a Steve skin, roaming around with pretty bad tools. Some know how to use them effectively, Most others, not so much. These guys are easy kills, but let them be long enough out of pity they could run the server. These players are a medium level kill on the strengh meter. They may have pretty bad tools and not know how to use them, but 6/10 times they will strike enough blows for you to be dead, or someone comes from behind and kills you. Try to take them out quick and silently
In PVP one of the most important rules is kill the weakest. That or stay alive long enough to no longer be the weakest.

Tips and Tricks for Killing these Players:
1. Go straight at them
2. Take them from behind
3. Apprehend them from air
4. There really is no good way to practice being these guys then having a friend or you pretend to be new and the other person chase you/friend down the corridors of whatever map you are PVPing on

The 'Camper'
This player is a little more advanced than new. They has learned how to control his weapon, but not very well, and not how to sneak up on people. Though they are an easy kill, half the time you will end up dead. The reason for this? They will hide around most places they can find, and in small rooms. They tend to shift in a blind spot, making it nearly impossible for you to kill them. This is a good tactic no matter what people say, but a lot of time it is better to go to the fight, other than waiting for them to bring the fight to you.

Now here are a couple tricks and tips to beating this player!
1. Always make sure you have a good view on both sides of the hallway.
2. Shift down the area making sure the camper doesn't know you are coming.
3. Watch the walls to see if they un-shift, always a good tactic.
4. Get a friend and practice doing the camping tactic, and practice taking out the camper. Me and my friend Kaj did that in a giant Maze I built (Which I didn't even know which way was which) and did this, the camper was always in adventure mode, and the hunter in survival with a diamond sword, to make it harder we went into F1 mode, it as a good match, the hunter died almost the same amount as the camper.

The 'Parkour Apprentice'
This player knows as much about fighting, maybe a little more than the camper. Except with the added factor that they are good at parkour. Making them an easier target to find, but a harder one to kill. They could probably knock you off a roof top in mid-air. The fact is, there isn't really a easy way to kill them, instead of following their foot steps or cutting them off, And don't try to cut them off. Because the reason they are ranked as a 'Parkour APPRENTICE' is because they miss a few more jumps then they should. Making them a littler easier to follow on ground. But I Suggest following step by step, jump by jump because some places may only be accessible from parkour. 8/10 times if you are bad at parkour you will be the first to die.

Now for tips and tricks:
1. Not only watch the player but plan ahead to see where they are headed, maybe giving you a little more time to work on making the jumps then worry about losing them.
2. If they are coming straight at you shift on the side of the wall and hit them when they jump.
3. Some of the Parkour Apprentices don't care if they fall so they will fall on purpose to escape
4. Some are more worried about making the parkour then they are about doing the PVP that could give you the upper hand
5. Bring a friend, grab a parkour map and practice being chased by a person with a weapon, and planning when you should turn around and attack them.

The 'Parkour Master'
These players are hard to kill, but not as hard as the ones coming after this might be! You cannot tell the difference between this and a Parkour Apprentice without observation, and in some cases you don't have much time to do. These players are usually stronger in higher places then on the floor, making that one of the reasons they are afraid to fall. Bringing one to floor could be the
one thing you need to be the top player. Though when you are coming after them, they could decide to go for that one high jump they need to do to get away! And as always, they are decking some decent gear, making it possible to knock you down before you get them.

Tips and Tricks Time :D
1. Bring them to the ground, usually their weakest point. Also fall damage will soften them up.
2. If you can't bring them to the ground cut them off, there always is a slight possibly that they will miss a jump, but usually not.
3. My friend Kaj is one of these 'Parkour Masters' and I can bring him to the ground pretty easily, but no matter where they are they do have the instict to fight, keep moving around them, and try to strike them from behind.
