This day was horrific....
As I lay in my bed I started to wonder what I should get my mother for Christmas. Father died a few months ago, so I was thinking of something good and something that will make her happy and suddenly a thought came to my mind. I should get her a dog. It is a great idea as she is always lonely sitting on her couch and reading a book and a dog should keep her accompanied.

I got up from my bed and as usual had my breakfast, and again I saw the Daily Steve in my post box. Two Daily Steve's in two consecutive days? What has happened this time? The murderer had struck again it seemed. He or she had killed Butcher Dave who lived opposite to me, but he was found in his shop lying on the floor with what seemed an Iron Sword pierced in his back. This was quite similar to Farmer Jonathan's death. So the murderer must like killing people in style.

Despite the fear of the murder I carried on and meandered towards the pet shop and to my dismay I found the owner lying on the floor with an Iron Sword jabbed in her back. The murderer had struck again. What did all these people have in relation? The murderer must of done this for a reason. I thought thoroughly and found no solution. It took time for me to realise that I hadn't called the police or anything. I must of been stuck in my own thoughts. Well, I phoned the police and they came in three minutes.

I was feeling quite peckish at the time so I sneakily took one piece of bread and I was off; however one police man came over to me and asked me a few questions and all I really knew was that I just saw her dead, but they insisted on asking "did you see the murderer" or to one of the most craziest questions "are you the murderer?". I just replied no to most of the questions which must of seemed suspicious in their eyes.

Today was my day off as it's a Saturday, so I didn't really know what to do. I had many thoughts to maybe go to the Steve Theme Park, but walking there would take too much effort, so I just set off back home. As I entered the village everyone started glaring at me. I was quite perplexed but I still entered my house to find that there were police inside looking around. Was I suspect? Me? A suspect? Surely not. Blasphemy! I came towards the police man at my door and asked what was happening. He called the people looking around my house to me and I was sent down to Steve Station where I was detained for questioning.

I was cruelly shoved in a cell made of rotten iron bars and stayed there for an hour or two. I was eventually let out as they could find no evidence that I was the murderer, so like I was going to do about 6 hours ago before I was rudely interrupted by the police. I set off home. I calmly sat down on my coach and later went up to bed because of the stressful day I had just been through.

What could happen tomorrow? Will the killer strike again?
