Make Sure that Mod Loader is Installed
Make sure that META INF is DELETED unless told otherwise.
Make Sure to put the files where instructed, some mods insist on adding to mods folder, some insist on adding to the minecraft.jar
Before installing mods, make sure you start off with a clean install of your minecraft.jar
To start off with a clean install of your minecraft.jar
Load up the launcher, click options, then force update, then login as usual.
Many client side mods WILL NOT work on SMP servers.
If you do not have a Mods Folder, Simply Right click inside your .minecraft folder, click new, then folder, call it Mods.
Some mods WILL NOT work together, If you are having errors with multiple mods, there will be a class conflict. Try starting a fresh minecraft.jar and installing one.
To find your .minecraft folder. (windows) Click on the windows button in the bottom left corner of the page. Click on run, then type %appdata%
Your .minecraft folder will be there
Mods WILL NOT work on the In-Browser Version of Minecraft.
