Whats been going on in the past few days? I look to the side of my page, just to see a clutter of

Why have these types of posts "blown up" in the past few days? And why do people fall for this sort of thing? There are some obvious strings attachted to this stuff, Here, allow me to list a few of these strings.


1. Are they REALLY going to be THAT popular, so much so that it's worth your risk?


2. Why do they NEED your PERSONAL information? Like you age? Your location? I've even seen an application asking your REAL NAME, and a few asking where you live.


3. Why do these people need other people to help them? If they were worth it, why would they need to mooch of your, and other peoples talent and abilities?

4. As stated above, why do these people need you to do all the work whilst they reap all the (Probably a miniscule amount of popularity, perhaps non at all) rewards?
