Seems to be a clear fact, that no matter what server, there will always be threats and actions created by greifers, and OP pvpers that will not give ANYONE a chance. But we believe the surprising fact is that nobody (The victims) ask or reach out for help. If it's you 20th time trying to take down a faction that is way OP compared to your current level, that's the point where you shouldn't give up, it's the point where you should get help.
The Creed seeks out people that are in need. Most of the times though, we come short handed and cannot find anyone in need (On PMC). The real question is, why aren't people just plain out asking for help? People are avoiding PVP faction servers because of OP players, and they don't go to anyone about it. I wouldn't blame the admins, they can't abuse their power by putting down anther faction, even if it is OP.
We presume that is where the Creed can come in. For the past years, we have been branching out onto servers, creating factions, remaining hidden, monitoring servers, looking for that slightest moment when an OP faction comes out, or a greifer decides to go huts, and we butcher them back into their place, or at least make a window of opporuntiy for new arrivals to the server to at least get set up with a proper base.
We are slowly seeing admins help their newbies get a better chance. Setting up tutorial spots in spawn, showing them how to correctly set up shop and preform furthur actions. Having an invincibility timer, so newbies will not get spawn camped. Progress is getting better.
Even with these new additions, we still see factions get pummled by said OP pvpers. We monitor servers, but we don't have a 100% overwatch on where these kinds of battles take place. If there is a server we aren't able to monitor, and a OP faction arises and limits the player count on that server because they take the pure fun out of PVP, that server becomes a ghost town (Most of the times)
We're out there to help, server admins, players, minecrafters in all. We lurk in the shadows, watching, waiting for the time to strike. But it shouldn't be this way, which is why we are coming out in the open, and setting workship up here at PMC. The first MC Vigilante Group, open for recruiting, and for helping server admins and other minecrafters. It doesn't have to be with PVP though, our team comprises up of PVPers, Redstone Engineers, Arctitects, our job list just keeps going. We give training on these types of skills, and use them in the field to help. We never plan to abuse our powers.
