Hi, guys. It's been a little while since my last blog post. The topic is going to be about why I don't want Minecraft to be on Steam.
Okay. So first of all, pretty much all of us know that Minecraft was officially released in 2009 (if you haven't known about it, well now you do). There's a lot of content in the game that's not as fancy-looking compared to other games (like Portal 2), but that's good. For example: the animation is unique and, though, basic, but that's still good.
Steam is home to fancy games. Minecraft is not one of these games. It's far too early for that. But the good news is: Minecraft is always getting improved.
The other problem is that it's too popular. Surely enough, if Minecraft somehow soon becomes available on Steam, that will probably hurt the economic systems of the Mojang and the Steam companies.
Perhaps if "Minecraft 2" or "Minecraft Game of the Year Edition" gets released, maybe then Mojang would want to decide that 'Minecraft 2" or "Minecraft Game of the Year Edition" is considered 'advanced'.
