My mother always warned me this day would come. She said that the Hero's would come again, that they would come after us Rebel's. Even those who where never involved in The Revolution would be a victim.
She was right.
It wasn't a hard guess really, it happened thirty years ago today. The Hero's rose up. They claimed that they had the solution to stop poverty, hunger and illness. That all the worlds troubles would end if we just listened to them.
What would you do? The chance to never be sick or hungry or poor ever again. Who could pass up that opportunity? A lot of people went for it. Headed to the building that would give them the surgery that would enhance their vision, intelligence, strength and ability to survive extreme climates. Unfortunately this came with a cost.It took away all human emotions as well as the ability to but the thought of other before yourself. I guess in a world where everyone is pretty much invincible you don't need to think about anyone's wellfare. Also everyone who undergoes the surgery has white, blank eyes. I think thats just for the creep factor.
Certain people rejected this idea, they said it took away all that made us human. This included my parents. They where the leaders of the Rebel's and fought for everything they believed in until they died.
Enter me.
Steve of Minecraftia. Trying to avenge my parents and stop the Hero's and their leader, my old friend. My twin brother Brine.
Yeah, yeah I know. Weird name. My parents where a bit to busy fighting to come up with a good name I guess.
Anyway that's why I'm here now hiding behind this wall. Half praying they don't find me and half hoping they will so I can end them.
There they are. Their blank eyes searching the ash and dust. Trying to find any last Rebel's.
Correction. Trying to find me. I am the last one left. The only one who hasn't turned into a Hero.
I see five of them. All dressed the same and all carrying fire blasters. I grip my diamond sword and try to remember what my mother told me.
Remember the Ender Queen. She hates the Hero's as much as we do. She will help you. Find the Ender portal.
Ender portal? Sounds like a fairy tale. But my mother was usually right, I run south, away from the monsters with the blank eyes. And - hopefully - toward the end of the Hero's.

3 days later…

Now i'm standing in a cave on the edge of a black portal filled with white stars, moving as if they're alive.
What do you know? The Ender portal does exist.
I pick up my diamond sword that fell from my hand when I entered the cavern. I take a deep breath and think of all who fought for the freedom from the Hero's.
Of my parents.
I jump.
The stars swirl around me as I plummet down, tumbling through empty space. It feels as though I left my stomach at the top.
Suddenly I hit the ground. I let out a groan and sat up, rubbing my bruised shoulder that I landed on. I looked around and my eyes widened with surprise. The land was made of sandy-colored stone, pillars of black obsidian rose up to the starless sky.
I stood up and started to walk. I had to find the Ender queen. She will help me.
Then I saw it. The man. Or at least, what could pass for a man. He was taller then he should have been with black skin - and I'm not being racist here, his skin was as dark as the sky. Pitch black. He had violet eyes and strange purple sparks swirled around him.
Quickly I raised my sword. "Who are you?" I demanded.
He responded with a odd chirping noise and pointed at my sword.
I held it where it was. "Where is the Ender Queen?" I asked.
He chirped again and pointed behind me. I glanced over my shoulder and gasped. Somehow I had missed a rather large castle made of obsidian.
"Great." I said looking back at him "Can you take me to her?" I didn't want any other unknown beasts to find me on my journey.
The man nodded and walked very rapidly in the direction of the castle. I had to run to keep up.

2 hours later…

I am standing in the castle looking at the woman who is the Ender Queen and I can't look away.
She is a bit taller then average with violet eyes like the Endermen - as I am now told they are called - but on her they look kind and natural. She has long dark hair and is wearing a long black dress.
"Who are you?" She whispers, "We never has visitors here, much less human ones. Who are you?"
I blink. Stupid. Forgot to even tell her who I was. "I am Steve of Minecraftia. I am here to seek your advice and aid in destroying the Hero's that have killed off the rest of my people."
She nods. "The Hero's have always been a concern to me. But you needn't worry now, they are all gone. Died in their own war over which Hero should rule. Their surgery destroyed all emotions but greed."
I was shocked. "So their all dead?" I asked. Was this journey all for nothing? Had I really seeked a way to end the world of Hero's when they had ended themselves?
She sighed "No. All but one. The Hero Brine - or Herobrine as he now prefers to be called - still lives. But he lives in the Nether, a world of fire and ash. He rules there. Planing revenge on his twin." She looked at me "which I now know is you."
"Wait." I ask. "how did you know that?"
She smiles. I like her smile. "I have ways. Why don't we talk more later Steve of Minecraftia?"

2 weeks later…

Enda - the Queens real name - has told me a lot. About the Ender dragon that the my brother created in order to find me, about the oath the Endermen kind have with her to never kill a human while she lives, about how Herobrine is still a threat even in the Nether.
I think I may be falling in love with Enda, but it's too late for that. She called me to her this morning and told me I must leave tonight. Told me that if I don't Herobrine will rise again and make the last remanning humans into Hero's. Hero's who will obey only him.
So now I am hiking across the Enderstone. My lips still buzzing with the goodbye kiss Enda gave me, along with a promise that we would see each other again.
As I hike to the portal that will take me back to Minecraftia. I hear a screech from behind. I whip around to see a huge black dragon, breathing orange fire down into Enda's castle.
"NO!" I scream. I dash back to Enda, my legs pumping hard trying to reach her in time.
But I am to far away. The Ender dragon looks my way and I see the evil in it's eyes. I remember that my brother created it to find me. He must know i'm leaving the Ender somehow and this is his best way of killing me at the time.
To kill the one I love the most.
I can suddenly see her limp body in the dragons talons, her dark hair falling in front of her face and I know she is dead.
I fall to my knees.
The Endermen around me start to screech and chirp until the air is full of a earpircing melody. The oath is broken.
They can kill me now.
I run as fast as I can to the portal. I can hear the Endermen chasing me as I jump back into the pit of swirling stars. In I fall, back to my home land.
Goodbye Enda, my love. I will avenge your death, and come back one day and slay the Ender dragon. I will find my brother and end his Revolution for you. I will never forget you and I know one day we will meet again, in a place full of stars.

THE END
