Herobrine was originally a programmer he had the skill to become the best programmer in the world:D.

But then he heard of a brand new game called Minecraft. He thought it would be an awesome game to code for.

But then he got addicted to coding, he coded day and night without taking rest, then eventually Notch told him to stop, but he wouldn't!

He would keep coding until, finally one faithful night he started glowing, then his eyes turned white, and finally his body became blocky until suddenly he got sucked into a portal which pulled him so long until he reached the world of minecraftia, where he gets his revenge on unaware players.

It is said the default steve skin was designed after him in honor of him.
