Steve’s life is extraordinary, yet simple in every single way. He wakes up, does the necessary things he needs to do to survive, and repeats that process. Although that may seem normal it’s not, because there’s no one else there to do it with him. He wakes up next to no one, and works alongside with no one. Even though Steve does this daily, he doesn’t realize that he’s the only one. His whole life is a routine and he lives it thinking it’s normal… But it’s everything but.

Steve’s life was a routine, and he lived it the same way as us.. The exact same way as us. He didn’t used to live in a world full of blocks and creatures one couldn’t dream of. He was a man and a father as well. But he lived his life the same every day, and that caused him to become unhealthy, and go into a comma. He would always eat cakes and cookies and anything that he desired, every day. In this comma, he dreamt of a world where he could face his fears, yet hide from them all at the same time. He didn’t have to communicate with people, and be embarrassed of his weight, if he did. The only “people” he had to communicate with were villagers, and they couldn’t even talk properly.

When he started gaining all of the weight, the only place he could really stay was his bed. That’s why whenever Steve would die in the world of blocks, he would spawn back into his bed. The bed was his safe haven. The bed was the place he could relax, and not have to worry about the people around him, including his wife and kids. The reason he doesn’t have a wife and kids in his world is because he was ashamed to communicate with them as well…

And then there were the Mobs. These creatures were Steve’s Bad thoughts, and they would show up at random times, but mainly night. Sometimes he could conquer them, and be fine, and sometimes they would conquer him, and make him fall back to his safe haven.

When Steve dreamt of this world, he dreamt perfect squares and blocks. Perfect.. that’s the key word. Because of the fact that he was embarrassed of his weight, he wanted everything to be perfectly symmetrical, so everything was equal. But that wasn’t the only thing he connected his obsession with food with in this world. The choices of food were mainly meats and junk food like pork, beef, lamb, cookies, cakes, pies, and so on, and he would eat them every time he got hungry (which was very often).

Although Steve’s hatred of his weight was the main aspect of his dream world, there were other things about it as well. He created a sense of self responsibility and care, and he would always start from scratch, building amazing things like magic potions, swords, and even buildings by himself. He wants to believe he has the capacity to do anything.
But what Steve doesn’t realize, is that no one is perfect. Not even his family, the people he was ashamed of communicating with. Everybody loved him for who he was, and they didn’t care about his weight. All they care about now, is for him to awake from his comma and go back home.

During Steve’s journey in his dream world, he realizes that no one is perfect, and he takes control of that. He goes to The End.. And wakes up.
