The world of gaming as we know it has evolved and changed over time, from the very first arcade-style games that children, teenagers and adults ran to the arcade with their loose change in their hands to enjoy, and the tornouments to become the best Pacman player, where an entire crowd would anxiously stand around, intrigued with what was happening on the screen. These days were the pixelated days of gaming, before graphical sprites were released and particle effects became vivid and quite realistic.

The world of gaming has shaped more than a few highscores and anti-socialism (as a non-gamer would likely point out) but when you carefully examine the future cultivated by gaming, you may notice a few other things that were originally cultivated by the generation of gaming, through creativity, innovation and constantly challenging the mind (not only of developers, but of players too), gaming has shaped a large part of society.

This article is going to point out some of the parts of society that were either created (or improved) through gaming and developing. This will not be an exahustive list, and will represent my opinion. This blog does not represent the opinion of Planet Minecraft or it's users and affiliates.

1. The Economy 
While the economy is boosted by a number of assets, video games and gaming websites have contributed to money that sources the globe. With recurring memberships (from sites like World of Warcraft, ROBLOX.com, XBOX Live, Playstation Network, etc). Memberships from Minecraft Servers that unlock special abilities or ranks have definitely made a lot of money, which benefits quite a lot. Not only does this operate companies successfully, but it stimulates career opportunities in society, as developers, analysts, public relations, etc.

2. Education and Intellect
Gaming and gaming websites stimulate discussion and conversations. I personally picked up a wealth of my spelling, literacy and grammar skills. Gaming and gaming discussions have assisted with my vocabulary, and ironically compared to what the non-gaming community think, has improved my grades in different ways. From English skills, to business and economical skills from running servers and/or working with different sites.

3. Strategic Thinking
Gaming that involves strategic thinking, including finding the clues to the next level and thinking about riddles have not only created strategic thinking for the game, but strategy in real life. From learning how to interact with other people, to picking up knowledge about different time periods and historical information.

4. Programming and Information Technology
The future of society will likely rely a lot more on technology and the internet. Those who are familliar with technology and how it is used at this stage, can stay up to date with it as it advances, which will be helpful for later career opportunities.

Conclusion:
Gaming has improved the world in a number of ways, through commerce, advertising, business, education, strategy, creativity and innovation as well as development, programming and troubleshooting.
