As we know Minecraft is coming towards it's beautiful end since we are
at 1.7 and we can only go to 1.9 I think we should consider some things
to make Minecraft forever playable.
Idea #1: More Mobs.
I know I'm not the only one who has tired of the normal Minecraft mobs but
skeletons, zombies, spiders, and creepers are cool but they get
predictable and unchallenging so Notch or Jeb will you add new tactics or
new enemies? (passive mobs to)
Idea #2: Enhanced Villages and Villagers.
Ever since they added that noise to them I finally noticed them and god do
they need an overhaul, I mean emeralds? Really? No really? You mean that
super rare one biome, one per pocket, ore? I have spent hours trying to
find some and I never do and besides some of the trades just suck like
10 gravel + 5 emeralds = 5 FLINT. I killed him on sight. But the
villages are just ridiculous when it comes to generation like this village ---> HERE
Idea #3: Better Animations.
I know the animations in Minecraft are very remembered because they are
so simple but you get sick of it fairly fast and you just wish for more.
The ocelot got more animation time put in than use! Their shoulders,
tails and legs were all very well animated. But just imagine a Slamacow
style animation in Minecraft.
Idea #4: More Tools/Weapons.
One of my favorite mods for Minecraft is Tinker's Construct because of all the
new tools you can make to improve off other ones that you don’t need but
sadly ever since 1.5 I haven't been able to use mods without crashing
after 5 min so eh. But yeah more tools more weapons etc.
Idea #5: Better/More Dimensions
This also kind of falls under another topic but I'll get to that, anyway
When I first played Minecraft I got bored in the overworld and
discovered the Nether and i died 3 times then it made me treasure what I
had in the overworld.This experience is unforgettable for me and I wish I could relive it but with a place a little more... peaceful.
Idea #6: More and Better Bosses.
This is my second biggest problem with Minecraft and I fell they made the
bosses way to easy. I can fight the wither and ender dragon with ease.
The ender dragon just takes way to long to find and fight, first getting
ender pearls, then making ender eyes, then.... throw them..... POP!....
restart.... its just to slow. The wither also takes way to long to make
because not everyone has a nether fortress and if they do it takes
hours to get one skull so up the chance and spawn rate of wither
skeletons please.
Idea #7: Make Minecraft Harder.
Minecraft I feel has swung in a couple bad ways since I join in 1.2 and I can't
stand for it. 1.2 the enchantment system made it so you had to have 50
levels and 30 bookshelves which was a hard but rewarding feat. They
decided to cut the number of shelves in half and make it 30 levels, which
isn't hard to get because level 1-16 take nearly the same amount of xp
each. They tried making Minecraft harder by making the hard difficulty
more "challenging" but it was cheap difficulty. By this I mean when you
kill a zombie more and more come, why not just make them spawn in
hordes? Skeletons shoot faster the closer you get making it impossible
to get anywhere close to them with a sword so you just end up dying over
and over. Better AI and no cheap tactics then all will be right in the
world.
Idea #8: Stop Siding in the Updates.
For every update they add a lot of stuff and occasionally you can use it in survival. They
have been siding with the mapmakers for a long time, which I do like
because it makes maps more interesting but I just want to play Minecraft
survival not a map. Example, Beacons (gives buffs in area) you need 81
of any material for the very basic layer, Command Block (uses /commands
with redstone pulse) creative only, Scoreboard (displays info on
servers) only used for points and kills and misc data. All we got was
horses quartz and carrots and potatoes now we need something big,
something better, something AMAZING!
Idea #9: Better Dungeons.
Ever since 1.3 temples came in and they have been a free resource or
materials no danger, no threats, no interest. The desert temple has one
trap and it is super avoidable. The jungle temple has 1 trap also and
it’s very easy to avoid if you have ever visited it. So please Mojang
make something challenging, something strong, and something
unpredictable.
