Hey people, this is Doublejinxx here. Today I thought I would give you some fun facts about the Avengers.
I got these facts from Wikipedia, Good Mythical Morning (check it out), and various websites.
The film grossed $1,036,173,290 dollars worldwide (The ninth highest worldwide, and the highest in 2012)
Chris Evans (Captain America) had to wear a prosthetic face to cover up the facial hair that he was growing for another role
(Why the Hulk is green: Originally, colorist, Stan Goldberg, couldn't get the Hulk's shades of grey right, and in some panels he appeared green. After Stan Lee and Jack Kirby saw this, they decided to keep him green to make it easier on Goldberg
In the Avengers comics J.A.R.V.I.S. is actually a real man. (He is Stark's butler, Edwin Jarvis)
After the (first) end credits, showing Thanos, you should stay and watch after the (second) end credits. It shows the whole team eating shawarma, the 'thing' that Tony stark wants to try after he is awakened from his fall from space. This scene was shot a day AFTER the world premier!
The code name for the movie before it was created was 'Group Hug'
Lou Ferrigno also did the voice for the Hulk in the Avengers (The guy that did all the other Hulks)
Two insect characters who were in the original Avengers comic were not in the Avengers movie: Ant Man and Wasp
The outdoor scene where they first meet Loki takes place in downtown Cleveland
Mark Ruffulo (Hulk) and Scarlett Johansson (Back Widow) share the same birthday: November 22nd
