Minecraft is a game that has had a big impact on my life growing up.

When I was younger, I remember seeing my cousin play Minecraft for the first time. It sparked my imagination with the limitless possibilities for what I can do. For many years then on, I'd be watching Minecraft "let's plays" on channels such as CaptainSparkles or PopularMMOs. Back then, I still haven't actually played Minecraft, as it was too expensive for me and my laptop couldn't even run the demo. The first version of Minecraft I would play is the Xbox 360 Edition, and I played a whole lot of that with my brother. We built our own villages, houses, landmarks, and contraptions, and it we had lots of fun stories from our time playing it. A diamond or comment to hear some? Since Creative Mode hadn't been added until some time, all of our builds were built legit and when Creative Mode did come we abused the heck out of that. But soon our Xbox stopped working and for a while no Minecraft again. Then the PS3 version released and we IMMEDIATELY bought that and continued our fun through there. I was also able to buy my brother and I the PC version of Minecraft and enjoyed modding that. All the kids in his girlfriend's family also loved the game, and we would spend some time playing Minecraft with them. Minecraft was the go-to game if we got bored.

Then as time would have it, my brother and I didn't have any more time to play that together anymore. He had work and I had loads of school stuff. But also, it started getting boring. There were little updates coming that made Minecraft fun again. From time to time we play it, but really my Minecraft story died there. UNTIL ONE DAY!!!

We looked after some kids from my brother's girlfriend's family. I became good friends with them and after that, I talked to them through social networking. One of them, talked a lot about Minecraft about the Youtubers and really wanting to play PC version. He asked of me only for some screenshots and I shared some I took when I still played. That kinda sparked my interest in Minecraft, I slowly started playing again. I would share my stories and any new screenshots I'd take if there were any. I realized that the time I've spent with friends and family was just as important as the things we did in Minecraft as it is a lot more fun to play with other people.
