Over these last few months of being a PMC user Io ve noticed quite a few people asking what they could do to get better or what they could build to get some exp/attention/subs/etc. And occasionally I would try to help out as best as I could possible.


Normally what I would tell these people would be something along the lines of o Try looking at others work and see what you could make in similarities to that.o This is actually just what I do normally when Io m unable to come up with things on my own. And this is really the best way to go as well, whether in blogs, skins, projects, or whatever the case! Also dono t forget to ask for ideas as well, though Io ve personally have had some trouble with doing so with this.


The main thing to keep in mind when just starting out is that you cano t get to be like someone such as Disco_, Dinosawr, Rova, John Smith, and so on without starting out somewhere. But you also gotta know yourself as well. For me, Io m one of those OCD perfectionists. And for those who dono t know what that is, ito s when youo re absolutely set on getting everything perfect no matter how hard you try to not worry about it being perfect but still end up having to have it perfect. Ito s things such as that that you need to look for in yourself! Know your strengths and weaknesses when it comes to building, writing, or designing your stuff. Just make sure that you also put into factor of what others find interesting and try applying similar appearances to your own projects, just dono t go stealing otherso projects, or using parts of their projects w/o their permission.
