We all remember fondly our first few minutes of minecraft. Running around like a headless chicken, wondering what to do.Do i punch this tree?Is this safe to touch? How do i build? Its all the same. Everyone who starts a new game of minecraft always thinks the same thing,"Where the bloody hell is the tutorial? Unless you are Chuck Norris. Which you are not.My first day, back in the far back time of 1.6 went pretty much like this: Punch tree. Punch pig. Punch ground. Night falls.Jump in hole caused by said punching.Dig way out. Exploded by creeper.

I can pretty much garuntee thats how your first day turned out.

I bet you then spent the next hour in the Minecraft Wiki Tutorial Page,Wondering how a monster can be made out of gunpowder and evilness..And theres nothing wrong with that, because weve all done it.

Now dont get me wrong i love the "Dropped alone in the wilderness with nothing but your bare hands" But maybe, Just MAYBE it would be a good idea for some of the younger/newer/n00bier players to have a properly formatted and structured Tutorial?

The closest minecraft has to a tutorial is the acievement screen(Pictured Above)Its great and all but: Does it really help us in the game?

But my question is: Does Minecraft need a Tutorial?
