In the early days of me being grounded, back in the beginning of May, my iPad and phone were taken away and I couldn't use my computer, so I spent my free time drawing. One night on the weekend, instead of the going to bed early (because I couldn't go on my iPad), I decided to do some drawing.

War for Cybertron
-style Art

Lugnut Clone
The art at the top of the blog was originally intended to be Lugnut, based on his Hunt for the Decepticons toy, but I thought it didn't look much like him, so I made it a "Lugnut-style" Decepticon. My new idea for this is that it's a mass-produced clone based on Lugnut, to serve as a heavy soldier for the Decepticons. This art wasn't based on War for Cybertron or its sequel, but it was still based on the Aligned continuity, where weapons transform out of the characters' arms, so I drew an energy axe that transforms out of the drone's forearm.

Maverick
Transformers Art
This is what I imagine Maverick (Top Gun x Transformers) would look like if he was in the WFC game. I based his design on WFC Starscream, but made it slimmer and more agile. His rifles (which were the missiles on the toy) now transform out of his arms like all the other weapons in the game. His jet mode is the product of me trying to recreate the Maverick toy's transformation in my head using this design, and I think it looks pretty good. Looking at it now, it gives me Hunt for the Decepticons Terradive vibes.

Doubledealer

Transformers Art
Here's my take on Doubledealer if he was in the High Noon games (War for and Fall of Cybertron). I basically just took the Earthrise toy's design and changed the leg design to look more Cybertronian. The missile is also now mounted on his back at an angle instead of on his shoulder. His gun, meanwhile, transforms out of his arm like the other WFC weapons. For his missile truck mode, I just swapped out the wheels for repulsors, which make it a hover vehicle. I didn't do the bird mode, but I wasn't planning on doing it anyways. Instead of a bird mode, I had plans to give him a Cybertronian jet mode with wings that look like his bird mode wings, but I decided not to do it.

Blitzwing
Transformers Art
The last of my High Noon games-style Transformers is Blitzwing, whose robot mode design is party inspired by EJ Su's design for him in the Infiltration mini-series back in 2005. You can tell this because the treads are on his shoulders instead of somewhere in his arms. I have Titans Return Blitzwing, so his tank mode was just me trying out the Titans Return transformation in my head with this design, and the same thing with the jet mode. I imagine the jet mode wings as angling down like the wings on the Cybertronian Seeker tetrajet modes in Bumblebee. His scimitar and blaster transform out of his arms.

Other Art

Megatron (Infiltration) and Megatron (The Transformers)

The last two pieces of art I drew that night were the Infiltration (left) and The Transformers (right) designs of Megatron in the 2005 IDW continuity. For the Megs on the left, I basically just took the G1 design and added treads on the back. (I forgot how to draw Infiltration Megatron's fusion cannon, because it has a different design than the normal one.) Finally, I wrote "All Hail Megatron," even though Megatron's design in All Hail Megatron is his G1 design. For the Megs on the right, it was easier to draw since I had just read "Chaos Theory" parts 1 and 2 (The Transformers #22 and #23), in which Megatron still had his bomber design, so it was fresh in my mind. Unfortunately, in those issues, Megatron was imprisoned and thus didn't have his railgun, so I had to draw it from memory. I also forgot to color in the bomber mode. I finished off the drawing by writing "Chaos Theory" underneath.
