IGEBM"Nothing defeats the Devastator! Nothing!"
Just figured I'd share some art I made of Devastator that I made last night!
For those who don't know, he was the first combiner to be created in the Transformers franchise, and he's comprised of the six Constructicons, Scavenger (excavator, right arm), Scrapper (front-end loader, right leg), Bonecrusher (bulldozer, left arm), Hook (crane truck, upper torso), Long Haul (dump truck, lower torso), and Mixmaster (cement mixer, left leg).
I've been practicing drawing him to the point that I can do it practically from memory, and while he may be a bit chonky (blame Long Haul and his 30 years of daily Burger King visits), I think I did a good job.
Components: Scavenger (right arm), Scrapper (right leg), Bonecrusher (left arm), Hook (upper torso), Long Haul (lower torso), and Mixmaster (left leg)
Function: Warrior

Here’s my take on Devastator if three alternate Constructicons helped form him.
Components: Scavenger (right arm), Scoop (right leg), Bonecrusher (left arm), Hook (upper torso), Long Haul (lower torso), and Mixmaster (left leg)
Function: Cybertron Defense
Weapons: Solar Energy Beam Rifle, drill
Starscream released the 5 arrested Constructicons and used the Enigma of Combination to merge them with Scoop, creating a new Devastator that served him.
Components: Scavenger (right arm), Hook (right leg), Bonecrusher (left arm), Prowl (upper torso), Long Haul (lower torso), and Mixmaster (left leg)
Function: Ultimate Weapon
Weapons: none
”Prowlastator” (as the fans call him) is the result of Megatron testing out a new, more unified, and more powerful version of Devastator. While the plan was for him to form the upper torso, he decided to use Prowl as a test subject and never wound up combining.

The layout of each character sheet places the robot mode front and center (more or less), with their alt-mode below, and their name and function beneath that. To the left of them is the part of Devastator that their original toy came with and their blaster under that. Finally, their combiner component mode is located to the right (and my name is in the top right corner).

Alt-mode: “earth mover” dump truck
Weapon: laser pistol
Part of Devastator: lower torso (or as TFWiki says, the crotch)
Devastator piece: Wing (waist plate; he also comes with the “Missile Mount,” which is Devy’s waist piece, and which was used to connect Scrapper and Mixmaster to him)

Function: Materials Fabrication
Alt-mode: cement mixer
Weapon: laser pistol (handheld), twin lasers (head-mounted; those two gray dots above his head)
Part of Devastator: left leg
Devastator piece: Solar Energy Beam Rifle (also called a Magna Laser)

Function: Resource Exploration
Alt-mode: crane truck
Weapon: vibro-force gun (handheld), Earth-auger missile (wrist-mounted)
Part of Devastator: upper torso (stand-in for Hook)
Devastator piece: head laser
"Full-length fulcrum supports and high-density stabilizer buffers are so last decacycle..."
Hauler later defected to the Autobots along with fellow Constructicon Erector, changing his windshield and eyes to blue.
Name: Erector
Function: Engineer
Alt-mode: truck cab with a crane trailer/battle platform
Weapon: photon cannon (handheld), anti-aircraft machine gun (battle platform)
Part of Devastator: left leg (stand-in for Mixmaster)
Devastator piece: Solar Energy Beam Rifle

Erector later defected to the Autobots along with fellow Constructicon Hauler, changing his color scheme to yellow-orange and gray.

This design (save for the weapon and combiner part), and the accompanying profile, was made entirely by me, and I’m pretty proud of it. (He’s Bonecrusher’s little bro, by the way.)

Scoop was once an Autobot, but renounced his faction in favor of serving Emperor Starscream, the ruler of Cybertron, whom the religious bot believed to be the Chosen One. When Starscream needed to install one of his own agents in Devastator, he released the imprisoned Constructicons and had Scoop be modified with the powers of the Engima of Combination to take the dead Scrapper’s place as the right leg.

Weapon: acid pellet gun

This is what happens when you have Bombshell mind control Prowl and forcefully combine him with the Constructicons.
