Hello!! I am making this blog because I made a blog on how to raid a base in a factions server. Please check that one out, too because that hit "Most Popular Blog on PlanetMinecraft at one point"

This blog is about a few traps to prevent raiders in a factions server. 

1. The Piston Trap. 
This trap only works in a claimed base. Simple piston traps. They will be annoyed to death.
Ingrediants: About 15 Redstone Dust, 1 Stone Pressure Plate, and 2 Regular Pistons.
How to Make:
Make the only entrance to get in the base a hallway just enough to fit through (2 high, 1 wide openning)  do not place a door, but instead place a piston facing down from the roof, and then another one 1 space away down the hall. put a stone pressure plate in between them. now, wire the redstone going from under the block where the pressure plate was and make it wire to both pistons.
How it Works:
Whenever a player tries to enter through the entrance, the pistons will shut on him and he will be stuck. this will only work on claimed property, because if it isnt claimed they will be able to break the pressure plate. Whenever you want to get in, you break the back piston, go in, and then put it back where it was. even any types of speed potions will not be able to make it through.



2. The Boiling Death Trap
This trap is the kind of trap that you will want to watch! It's fun and you will get their stuff!
Ingrediants: 2 buckets of lava, 2 hoppers, 12 slabs (of any sort), 2 pistons, and 1 stone pressure plate.
How to Make:
Make the only entrance to get in the base a hallway just enough to fit through (2 high, 1 wide openning) do not place a door, instead place a pressure plate at the entrance. put hidden extended pistons facing the sides and put blocks above it to hide it. dig under the extended part of the pistons about 8 blocks. at the bottom place the two hoppers as the ground. place lava 1 space above them so the victims legs are sticking out the bottom. put signs under the lava so it does not flow onto the hoppers. place double chests under the hoppers so that everything that comes down the hoppers goes down into the double chests.
How it Works:
The raider will go through into the entrance, thinking it is a trap that he can jump, so he will sprint through it and jump, but he will make it over the first block, and fall in the second. whenever you need to get in, break the pressure plate, pass through, and replace when your done.




3. The Simple Trap
This trap will annoy the raiders to death. It may make you look like a cheap idiot, but it gets the job done.
Ingrediants: 1 Blocks of any sort, something that you can break with your hand is best. 
How to Make:
This is simple. make your only entrance to your base a 2 block high and 1 block wide opening and block it off with one simple claimed block.
How it Works:
Too easy. nobody (besides hackers lol) can pass through a block, so they will be unable to get in the base. whenever you want to get in just break the block and replace it again when you leave.





I'm sorry that I didn't put too much traps on this blog, but im in a loud house so i cant think. and cus there are only so many traps that work in factions servers.
