I've recently been inspired by the awesome pixel art of iiRichiee and wanted to try out pixel art myself. I really have no experience with it nor do I look at pixel art very often, so forgive me if it's not great xD. This is the second thing I've made, the first thing is the image that's currently my avatar (http://i.imgur.com/ttzbc.png). I know it's a bit boring now, but I hope you guys like it! This is awesome! I can feel the heat of the desert!

Just two points I thought.I think the desert could be placed lower and some more shades at the horizon between the sky and the desert would be nice. The shadow of the cactus should be going to the different direction too because it's giving me an impression that the desert is flat when you probably didn't want it to be flat.

I used Paint.NET, but you could use most any drawing program

You need to resize it (remember 40x40 pixels or whatever resolution you're using is pretty small!). Be sure to resize it in multiples of the original dimensions. For example, if your image is 30x30, you can resize it to 60x60 or 90x90, but not 100x100. Also, if it gives you the option in the resize window, select 'nearest neighbor'.

Sorry, i'm not doing requests. If there's something you want made, i'd suggest giving it a go yourself...doing it is pretty fun and it's not super hard (i'm not much of an artist)
