Hello as you may know by now you are in big trouble, Day time begins to fall and soon it will be dark which means only one thing, MONSTERS! Dont worry though i will teach you the ways to survive. First of all try find any trees near by, then chop about 14 trees down. once you have done this dont waste anytime! go into your portable crafting area located in your iventory area and transfer the Wood into wood planks.
Next find a small, flat area; begin to make a 5longx5widex3tall house, we can improve your house later. start to make a stair cased mine going down only go down about 10y then return to surface. it turns night time you return to your little shack and wait till dawn.
you see the sunrise, next you return to your begininning of a mine you started earlier. you mine 12 stone blocks and return to the surface, you go get some more wood and go back to your shack. you make a crafting table and place it outside the mine, then you enter the crafting table and make a ring witht ehs tone you mined making a furnace; then you make sticks using the wood and with the spare 3 cobblestone you decide to make a stone pickaxe. Next go back mining until you reach Y16 once you have reached Y16 go back up to the surface but on your way back up look for any ores in the walls of where you mined. your over all profit from the mine was 16 iron ore and 10 coal, smelt the iron in the furnace using the coal as a fuel. whilst your iron is smelting try to locate a near by pond or lake. return home and collect your iron the craft 2 buckets which are 3 iron each. once you have made your buckets walk back to the pond/lake you found earlier and collect to buckets of water return back to your shack and make a water source by placing a 2widex2widex1deep and putting the water in each corner. then use the water buckets and the water source to make a little pond.
you can now use this pond for fishing to gather food or if you need water. next go mining and get more iron by this time you shall have enough to make a full set of iron armour and all the iron tools. craft all the iron armour peices and tools then equip the armour and place all the tools in your hot bar. now go chop down a ton of trees! once you have chopped lots of trees down expand and improve you house!
