I can't be the only one excited about 1.7, It's the biggest update we've ever had! So many things added, Mojang really did work hard on this update!
5 Things I'm Really Excited About
Command Block:
Basically there adding the command block! You type in a command, such as spawning in a mob, or the mob riding on top of it. Such as a Giant riding a ghast. Now I for one am not exactly good at commands, or mods alone. So I have alot of learning, but I am very excited about it!
Biomes:
BIOMES! So many new biomes are being add to in this update! The Disco Mountains, Hooded Forests, Birch Forests, Extreme Mountains, and many of the biomes have been tweaked. This means more places to build! Plus deeper oceans, the possibilities are endless!
Sprinting:
The new sprinting control is ctrl+the key you use to move forward. This is a much easier way to get away in pvp, the regular control for sprinting will still be available but this is also an option.
Flowers:
Basically, flowers = more decorations. The possibilities are endless since there adding like 7 new flowers. So basically these are just new decorations that me, and other builders can use to decorate and make our builds nice and pretty pretty goo goo gorgeous!
Secret Filter:
This is gonna be a GREAT thing for faction-pvpers, there is a filter that if you use a custom map and you put it on a item frame that is on a half transparent thing (chests, signs, etc.) it will be unable to see from a distance, unless you go up close and look at the top. This is a little trick that you can use to hide your chests in your fac base. I'm not sure if its a bug or not though soo.
