The year was 2124 and Josh, a space explorer from the planet Elesmiria, was sent on a rapid exploration to find a suitable planet like Elesmiria because their planet was plummeting towards a black hole. As Josh was waking up in the morning on the day he had to leave his wife and child back home because the space ship would not be able to sustain three people for longer than a week. As he boarded the ship and sat down in the cockpit he looked out the window and saw his wife and child in tears and waving goodbye for it might be the last time they saw each other. Josh blew back a kiss and mouthed “I love you!” The ship had left the atmosphere and he had no idea where the ship was taking him. All of a sudden the Elesmirian president came over the intercom and told Josh how brave and courageous he was to leave his family behind in this time of great need. Josh did not know what else to say except thank you! He had been gone for 12 hours now and Josh had not closed his eyes once to rest so he went to go take a nap. Josh was woken up very abruptly an hour into his slumber. Warning alarms which said “Collision in 100 miles, brace for impact.” Josh was stumbling around the space ship trying to get to the cockpit to get strapped in and see what the problem was with the ship. When he reached the control center he saw that the magnetic field of the nearby planet was so great that the metal on his ship was being torn off. He knew he had to take the escape pod to the planet or risk dying. As he was running to the escape pod a pipe exploded and blasted Josh back, he was stunned for a couple minutes. He got back up and continued to run towards the escape pod. He reached it and strapped himself in and pushed the big red eject button in the middle of the dashboard. 


His escape pod was getting pulled into the nearby planet, he could not do anything now just pray that he would not be torn apart by the planet. As he looked out his left window he could see his ship falling beside him exploding and on fire. An engine from the ship flew right over him and as it passed him it exploded and threw Josh even faster down towards the ground. Josh was going to hit the ground at 1200 miles per hour if he did not turn on the reverse thrusters. As he fell, all he did was pray, pray that he would not die and he could see his family one last time. When he hit the ground his escape pod crumbled apart and Josh was thrown out of his seat. The last thing he remembers is seeing an oddly shaped object that he had crashed into. Josh was knocked out cold for a couple of hours. When he woke the only thing he could remember was the pain in his head. It was starting to turn to night and Josh fell back asleep. He was dreaming of a girl with black hair and blue eyes. She led him to this planet that he had never seen before, it had trees as tall as houses which he has never seen before because the trees on Elesmiria were shorter than an average adult. The ground on this mysterious planet was also very fertile, it had grass as green as a lime which doesn’t happen on Elesmiria because it was a barren dusty place. When he opened his eyes and woke up from his slumber he looked up and saw a nebula that was purple, blue and red was in the shape of a disk. Josh had nothing to believe in so he took the only thing he remembers and believed in that girl from his dream. Hoping that one day she would rescue him and take him back to Elesmiria, but he knew that was impossible because it was about to be torn apart.


Josh asked the gods why they left him on this planet to rot and die. As he started to gather materials he found out what knocked him out when he flew out of his seat it was a tree. It was the tallest tree for miles so Josh climbed it to see what he could spot. To the east, he saw a teal river. To the north, he saw the forest on fire and a giant cloud of smoke. As he looked closer he saw his ship in ruins. To the west, he saw mountain ranges that passed through the clouds. There was snow on them that had a dark blue pigment to it. To the south, he saw the entry line of his escape pod. Josh decided that the next morning he would start his journey to his ship to get the supplies he was looking for. When he climbed down the tree he found a very odd material, it looked like rock but it was black as night and was almost like slime. Josh thought this was rather odd and ignored it for the time being till he could find a way to use it. Josh started to chop down a tree nearby to keep warm during the night and warn off predators. He used the hatchet that was in his escape pod. When he looked up to tell the time he saw that there were two suns in this solar system. He followed the biggest one to tell time, but he couldn’t get a relative time. Josh thought he had a couple hours left before night fall so he decided to try and fix his communicator. After 20 minutes he found out that the circuit was fried and needed new wires. He gave up on the whole project of repairing his communicator because he knew it would be a waist of time trying to find wires. The only place he knew that would have them was his ship, which had probably burnt up all the wires on the entry to the planet. The planet he called “Alare” which in Ferorian, his language, meant deserted. As the sun set and the fire started to blaze Josh could only think of his family and friends back on Elesmiria. Randomly the girl from his dreams popped into his head. He was wondering if the gods were trying to tell him something or give him a sign. As he layed there thinking he started to drift off into his land of dreams. This time the girl was standing on top of a hill with her blond hair over her face. He could not see her eyes. Behind her was a massive ship two times the size of his. He was running trying to reach her but the ground to begin to sink as if he was in quick sand. When he could not breath anymore he woke up quickly, sweating and hyperventilating. The suns had begun to rise the smallest one rose first followed by the larger one. Josh started to craft a spear to go hunting with. He was very famished and needed something to eat. He traveled a couple kilometers when he saw very large beasts that had a light blue fur with a sort of yellow or green butterfly shape on their backs. He did not understand why some had green and others had yellow. They had blood red eyes that seemed to see into his soul when one saw him. Josh was crouching trying to get to one. When he reached one he slowly got up and threw his spear as fast and hard as he could.
