Hello everybody! It's CoolMinecarftNathan. In this blog, i'm going to talk about a few updates regarding my account on PMC and the things I upload and all of that stuff! Now I really don't have anything else to say besides the updates, so let's not keep you waiting here and let's get started.
(1) Schedule
Some how, some where, I have been able to upload something almost everyday! Whether it's NSMB, Pixel Art, or a big adventure map, i've been able to do it. But lately, i've been skipping a few days. Now there is a point I need to get across. Lately, i've gotten much much busier, school being a big part of it. It's not easy uploading something everyday, because it takes a lot of work, planning, and thinking, especially on the maps. They can't be done so easily, unless it's something short like pixel art. Now this takes away a lot of time from my life, and that isn't good. I need more time for school and a social life. I mean I still HAVE one, but I can't stay on my PC all day, minecraft, or anything. So here's my new plan: 1 submission every other day. If I have been uploading every day, it's not the hardest thing in the world. But skipping a day every submission pretty much doubles my free time. Then I can focus more on studying, homework, friends, and family. And since good submissions don't come for months, this isn't so bad.
(2) Story: Survival
What can I say about this? Well, thing is, believe it or not, writing a story is almost just as much of a hassle as it is making a map. It's fun, don't get me wrong. But, i'm starting to run out of ideas. I'M NOT ENDING THIS STORY. I REPEAT, I AM NOT ENDING THIS STORY! This is NOT what is happening! But, either Survival is going to be submitted less often, or it might be a long time for the next part. Now I don't just go onto my PC and say, "hm, i'm going to write another part of Survival today!" No. I don't just go onto the website and wing it. I have to plan what i'm going to right and what's going to happen. Suspense? Fighting? Just a long mining expedition? I brainstorm on a document and right up a rough of the story. If I like it, I copy it to a PMC blog post, and submit. So, if you don't already know, the idea is, basically Survival isn't going to be submitted as often. Apologies to anyone who really likes the series.
(3) Twitter
You guys may know I have a twitter. I was going to use it to post spoilers and stuff about Minecraft. Yet I only made one tweet and it was almost 6 - 7 months ago. My basic plan is to tweet more. You can see the tweets on my profile (atleast I think you can) or on my twitter page. I think I will be tweeting spoilers and hints on future projects, if something is going to be out soon, links, and stuff just about Minecraft. So feel free to follow, but I don't beg. But atleast check it out! I don't know when I will start tweeting. We'll find out.
