Disclaimer- I do NOT know if this works and this is only how to ADD new shaders, not to program them. (I don't do java or any other codes, I found out how to do this by mistake.)
What are shaders?
Shaders are a way of making your minecraft screen change its formatting. For example, one can make minecraft look like it was drawn by a pencil.
Step 1; Create a rescource pack.
In the options menu, go to the rescource packs area. Create a new folder, rename it what the rescource pack should be called.
Then, add the pack.mcmeta thing. (you can copy it from another pack.)
In the rescource pack folder, create an "assets" folder, then put a "minecraft" folder in that one.
Step 2; Create the shader.
In the "minecraft" folder, create another new folder named "shaders" and in THAT folder create two more folders "post" and "program". Now at this point I'm an idiot and don't know what to do- from what I see you put title info (.json format) in post for your shader and the shader coding (.fsh, and .json) in the program. Look up a better tutorial, but I hoped I helped anyhow!
