My name is Jack. I was heading home after a long day of working as an accountant, today my boss gave me another raise. As I was walking through the parking lot, I noticed that someone scratched some sort of symbol on the hood of my car. At first I was furious, "When I find the teenagers that did this," I mumbled. I was shocked to find the symbol shown a circle with two curved lines in the middle. Quickly I got in my car and drove away, knowing I had to get out of there fast.
As I was driving towards my apartment, I heard a low hissing coming from my radio. When I tried to turn it off, the hiss got louder and louder. Then it became an earsplitting shriek that drove me crazy! Finally I pulled over and ran inside the apartment building, away from that hiss. For safe measure I went up to my apartment and locked the door, then I ran into my room and did the same.
That night I couldn't sleep. The only thing I could do is keep my mind on is the symbol, I knew that something or someone was after me. Still questioning myself, I fell asleep. What felt like five seconds later l woke up with an intense, burning pain on my chest. I looked to see what was causing such pain.

I knew that I was doomed...
