I think villagers should attack you when you hit them like zombie pig men they will all team up on your and attack this is for the villagers because if minecratians attack they are dead but if they can fight back they have a chance at getting back at them.
I think this will work if they use the zombie pig men modification on the villagers so the villagers attack like the zombie pig men ganging up.
this will help minecraft alot of people want villagers to fight back they think it will be fun like me it would be awesome if villagers fight back it would be power for once the villagers would have power not much but enough to defened a little bit agaist ever one else because usally there are no iron golems in the villages and if there was villagers that fight for them self it would be awesome thanks and take this into consideration.
