Towny... We all know what it is. Most of us who use it on their server know how much of a b**ch it can be. Don't get me wrong, it a great plugin and has wonderful features. But sometimes the stupidest crap happens. Your using it and for no dam reason, safe mode enables. then maybe you load a backup and it keeps kicking you and then you re-install and lose all of your towns and then it happens a few weeks later and you lose all of your town data again.

What all of us RPG servers need that are not based around PVP is a replacement for towny. One that does not run on a flat file and is more lightweight and less buggy. I think that someone needs to gather a team of java coders and develop a new towny. I know there's other towny replacements out there, but most of them just don't cut it. Towny hasn't had a stable build since the beginning of May.

If someone were to make this kind of plugin i think the following features should be implemented.

• Players can create towns and claim land with money
  
• The more players in the town, the more land you can have
  
• You can toggle pvp, mobs etc in your town
  
• A Daily Tax system
  
• **No Plot system**
  
• Database support
  
• Players cannot claim others towns
  
• Option to make it so Towns can be created, but to become full towns, they must be approved by a staff member
