Weird Chicken easter egg?

Hi guys this is my first EVER blog! I hope you enjoy! -Chilly

In my single player survival world one day I was going about farming and what not and right after farming some nether wart
I past my chicken farm and I accidently press the left click button and a heart appeared over a chicken....I was confused I clikc on it some more and it kept making hearts, something its only supposed to do when given seeds so ever since I've used nether wart instead of seeds to mate chickens!

Personally, I would never use nether warts; regular seeds are much more common and easier to acquire.

I know, Nether Warts are techincally by the Minecraft system considered a type of seed, since it grow.

If you can breed chickens with melon, pumkin, and wheat seeds. same with nether warts. they are seeds technically, look it up on minecraftwiki.
