What a difference a decade makes!

Wow, it's been a decade since I've been active in Minecraft and I'm just coming off of hiatus. The last decade has been hard, but ultimately productive and fulfilling. A lot has changed in-game! Including my account. I had to buy another darn account because of the migration crap. What I don't understand is why Microsoft still has a database of "legacy" accounts, so you can see your account...but you just can't use it. What the crap?

So, yeah, I'm a bit salty about that, and while I'm not impressed by the marketplace for bedrock, I am impressed by the last decade of updates in Minecraft, particularly the Java edition. Mods are also super accessible now via Modrinth. I remember having to edit jar files back in ye olden times. Creating your own servers is now super easy and free and/or cheap now, too!

While the Hypixel gang initially wowed people with the Hytale trailer, it seems like Minecraft has actually gone and added a lot of aesthetic updates while Hytale was just canceled. With Hytale dumped, I picked up Vintage Story, and it's an amazing game. It's not the Hytale that we were promised, but I think it might actually be better. Especially, without Tencent/Riot's involvement.

I'm having a lot of fun with both Minecraft and Vintage Story. I'm also running a Minecraft server for friends and family. I think I might start making skins again and taking requests. If anyone has a request now (particularly VG characters), feel free to hit me up!
