What am I doing wrong?

I don't understand why my recent Pokemon skins haven't been getting much attention. These are things that people wanted, and they only have 1-3 diamonds, 80 views and barely any downloads.

My Blastoise skin has been up for 8 months and only has 13 diamonds yet I see it everywhere. And I saw on the front of skins today someone made a friggin' caterpie and got 40 diamonds it 18 hours! I don't understand! I have made over 130 Pokemon skins and yet I get beaten by one caterpie. Do I need a new style? Am I using wrong colours? Wrong tags? Am I uploading it at the wrong time? Or is it time to finish up in skinning?
Help me out here or I'm outta here.

EDIT: Alright, here's what I've decided to do. First I'll finish the starter Pokemon, Update the mob skins, then I'll experiment with a different series of skins and see what happens from there. Any suggestions for skins to do?

I know that you won't ever read this since you don't come here anymore, but to be fair, I feel the same way. I spend almost hours and work into my creations, even if they're little things, and no matter how perfect I try to make them, they don't get any likes or downloads. Sure, they get alot of views, but what's the point of viewing things if you aren't going to do anything with them?! I feel like my skins aren't as good compared to others, thanks to my type of shading since everyone is obsessed with those anime simple shading girl skins (That I actually like too, but I still think they're overrated) Some of my skins get popular on trending pages, but they are barely used. I feel like I'm doing something wrong as well.

Your First stage pokemon are lacking necessary types of shading, other than that their good

Guys, guys, we shouldn't make skins just to get popular, or have diamonds and downloads and stuff. We post skins for the enjoyment of other people to have a cool looking avatar while they play Minecraft.

The problem is that people never diamond ANYTHING they just quickly look and then just take it if they like it maybe post it on another site as they're own, or if they're lazy just dont look at it at all
