it's obvious that roblox NOT COPIES minecraft AND NOT EVEN MINECRAFT COPIES ROBLOX. the real story is that minecraft was inspired by another small game where you mine blocks. and roblox's first name had "blocks" in name. it can't be roblox copying the minecraft's inspired game because roblox didn't had mining functions. so it's obvious that roblox copied minecraft. even if minecraft was launched in 2009 and roblox in 2006, that wouldn't mean minecraft copied roblox, and i said minecraft was inspired by another small game. that means minecraft's development started earlier, not really 2009. we don't know when, but i'm sure roblox DIDN'T copied minecraft, they was inspired by legos, there was no mining in roblox, that means roblox is inspired by legos and minecraft by another mine game. they don't copy each other. now did i solved the copying issue?

Well i dont think roblox even knew about minecraft in their development stages. Roblox was made publicly first, but wasn't developed first. I would say both. Minecraft was developed first, but Roblox was released first.

For those who don't know. Minecraft was officially released on its own Standalone Client in 2009. However its early stages date back to early 2000-2001. Roblox was initially created on the idea that Minecraft had been working on, then became a specialized game with its own premise. While the two are very similar, they are two different games. Yes, Minecraft did come first. Also the age allotments on a game don't define what majority of the community play it. More then 60% of Minecraft player's are adults. Or are in their teen years, as they are the ones who grew up on it.

Minecraft had to come first if roblox was made in 2006. Minecraft was made in like the early 2000's!!

I've been seeing a lot of comments saying that how Roblox is an exact replica of Minecraft. It's not. Roblox focuses on making minigames to play while Minecraft focuses on surviving and/or building. I know there are some servers that make minigames, but they have their own quirks that set it aside from Roblox. People should refrain from using words like "rip-off" when two games are similar. One is usually inspired by the other. For example, Overwatch and Paladins. They have many similarities but each game has different heroes and methods of gameplay. if someone took a game and renamed a few things, then yes, it is a rip-off. Now I'm not saying that one is better than the other, just that each game has their own styles of gameplay.
