Years ago in minecraft servers used to be tiny little things. With little builds. Now in minecraft we have servers with Donate ranks and Admin Ranks being handed out for no reason.
Admins now fell over powered with the new commands (Sorry PMC Admins)
Server now also have loads and loads of giant builds.Plugins,they make the servers not like minecraft.
If you make a zombie survival server,DONT USE CREEPERS,SKELETONS AND SPIDERS!
If you use SethBlings TF2 dustbowl map,DONT MAKE CHANGES TO IT!
If you make a server full of models.I have one thing to say to you,GO THE FREAKIN AWAY!
