So, for me, multiplayer is all about the PVP. But there's also something strangely alluring about pure SMP. I mean, despite all the different and amazing things in Minecraft, it's still great fun to just head down to the mine with your friends, find some iron, laugh at your friend when they're blown up by a creeper then listen to them snort smugly when you meet the same fate. There are so many aspects of running around a world, building, slaying and destroying. There's the thrill of adventure when you travel across the land, searching for strongholds. The challenge, excitement and rewards of mining for ore. The tension (and the ability to yell loud war cries over Skype, destroying your friends' headphones and annoying everyone nearby) of fighting mobs. The glory and satisfaction of PVP and crafting and building your way to total power (*Clears Throat* 'Total power' is when you have 6 sets of full diamond weaponry and can destroy nearby player-populated villages with ease, loot everything and then burn it to the ground). So, please post what your favourite aspect of multiplayer is, whether it be PVP, hardcore, mining, creative um.. creating, or just SMP generally!
