Hi there! You all know me as DinoWolf. What if, minecraft took place in modern times?
I don't know about you all, but sometimes I think about VERY weird things that might be in Minecraft. Especially this one.
If Minecraft actually took place in modern times. I don't know what Minecraft is supposed to be in. Country, or medivel times? No clue.
1. If the villages were actually stores, or some sort of resort or hotel. I think the villagers would dress up in suits and look more normal then what they look like already. Instead of the blacksmith it would be a jewlery store. The tall towers would be Skyscrapers. The houses would instead of being seperate, all would be combined and there would still be seperate rooms for each person.
2. The mobs would actually still be the same but look a little more realistic. I think it would be good to keep them the way they are, it seems good for the game.
3. All the open land? Nope. There would be roads, and pathways, and sidewalks and trails to walk on. Sigs going to different cities, major country's, ect. In the city's there would be hotels, malls, grocery stores, library's, minecraft news station, swimming pools, theme parks, and lots of all that. And in some of the open land there would still be the very hard to find actual villages with normal villagers. Plots for people to build mansions and houses on. Money to buy lots for businesses, ect.
4. For transportation there would be cars, trains, airplanes, hot air balloons, skytrains, and of course the good old fashioned walking from place to place. There would be traffic laws and all that. You would have to pay to get on public transporation of course.
5. New decorations. For that their would be junk food, healthy food, computers, headphones, chairs, tables, new and improved looking beds, more and better looking flowers, paint for walls, new carpet, different kinds of stone, board games, fire and tents.
But honestly, I like Minecraft the way it is now. The medivel, villagers, open space, walking, simple kinda game. The whole metropolis idea would get REALLY boring after a while because that's the kind of life we live every single boring day. The reason why so many people like Minecraft is because that's not something you can do. You can't fight zombies, skeletons, creepers, and be farmers, or hunters in real life like this. Minecraft is perfect the way it is right now!
