Hello Rhinos Again,
I would like to ask a question to every Planet Minecraft Addict, what if there was a texture pack contest? At first, your thoughts may be all over the place. However, I want to give you reasons why Planet Minecraft should try consider my request of a texture pack contest.
Reason 1- Qualtiy: As many people know, the last SKIN contest, Monster In the Closet had lots of copied and unoriginal skins. Also, many of these skins took under 30 minutes to make. I understand that sometimes you don't need long amounts of time to make a skin perfect, however in order to make your skin perfect, you need effort. With texture packs, there will be more quality entries, and a more exciting and competitive contest. Not only will it provide an influx of texture packs, it will encourage people to provide content to the website.
Reason 2- Happier Minecrafters: Many people love texture packs, including myself. This is what many people come to the site for. Not only would more potential contributors come to the site. This, would keep the site constantly filled with fresh and new content. The popular reel would also stay fresh and new.
Reason 3- Adaptability: Much like the skin contest, the texture pack contest could be easily altered or changed to provide a whole new feel. This would also be a total plus. One month you could have a space theme, the next ancient roman. This adaptability will provide and please many people.
