What is life?

The other day, me and my friend were talking about if humans have souls. Well, thats what this blog is about. If this 'soul substance' was real, it would not ever die. For if it were real, the soul would be life itself. Everything thats alive would have a soul. From a piece of grass to a tree. Our body's would just be shells. Our brains the moter. Our souls would be like the driver, it brings the engine to life. Makes it move. It wouldnt think, the soul would do that, its just a form of transportation. It scares me to think our body's are just machines for this soul substance. But if souls didnt exist then life would be sonatanias. We would think for ourselfes and do enything we want to do. We would be ourselfes.
