Interview:
Hello Pmc and this is my daily blog post! Today I interviewed a owner of a popular minecraft server! (The server name or the Owner's name will not be revealed because he would like to stay anonymous) This owner reveals the truth about donations!
1st Question
Me: What do you do with all of your donations? And how much really goes to the server.
Owner: I am going to tell you the truth here. Nearly all of the donations get split up into equal amounts and is given to the staff. Only about 10% of it goes to the server.
Me: Wow
Second Question:
Me: How much donations do you receive daily? And in the past year how much have you made on this server?
Owner: We receive about 1-5 donations daily but on slow days when don't get any. I have made about $500 and the staff about $100.
Third Question:
Me: Do you ever feel bad of taking your players money and lieing to them?
Owner: At first yes but now I really don't.
Conclusion:
That is why I never donate to servers. Hope you guys enjoyed today's daily blog!

But! I shall say that your statement is correct, there are some servers who do use their servers to gain money from it. While putting only a small amount of donations into the server.
